Maintenance and Daily Care Protocols
Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the longevity and performance of the device. Earwax and moisture are the primary causes of device failure.
Daily Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the outer shell. A small brush can be used to gently clear debris from the microphone and receiver ports.
Wax Guard Replacement: Most devices feature a small filter (wax guard) that catches debris. These should be replaced every 2–4 weeks or whenever sound quality seems muffled.
Moisture Control: Devices should never be exposed to water. Storing them in a dehumidifying case overnight can help remove moisture accumulated from the ear canal or environment.
